Suwannee Progress is sponsoring a Logo Contest seeking to create an image that reflects our Mission Statement AND our Vision:
Our Mission is to work within our community as a cohesive group to further our common interests of advocating for a safe, healthy, and prosperous location in which to live, work, and play.
VISION STATEMENT:
By the year 2020, Suwannee County will become one of Florida’s premier tourist destinations and “Small Town of Choice.” Renowned for its unique natural beauty and resources, Suwannee County will become a destination where visitors can enjoy small town values and charm. Supported by a well-educated and trained workforce and a business-ready infrastructure, Suwannee County will attract new diverse business and industry to become a community where high-tech, professional services, retail sales, healthcare, eco-tourism and agribusiness call home. Young people will turn to Suwannee County to launch a career, raise a family, and join an ever-growing retirement community. They will participate in a community rich in cultural experiences, featuring a revitalized and vibrant downtown and a quality of life the envy of all. With the support of its corporate and elected leaders working in concert, Suwannee County will achieve its full potential and become a model for progressive, forward thinking and environmentally conscious communities throughout Florida and the Southeastern United States.
CONTEST GUIDELINES
1. We want the logo to creatively reflect our Mission Statement, (but we don’t want the image to include the language). Review our Vision Statement for ideas too.
2. The image needs to be in a jpg format
3. The Color Scheme is up to you
4. Don’t infringe on any copyright materials
5. Images are due by April 22, 2013, at 5pm
6. Submit images at www.suwanneeprogress.com
7. Complete the online application
